Constanta is the seat of Constanta County and it is situated at about 250 km from Bucharest, at the Romanian seaside, at the Black Sea. Its neighbors to the north are Mamaia resort and then Navodari city about 15 km and to the south: Agigea (7 km), Eforie Nord (15 km) and all the other resorts of our coastline. The second most important city on the coast, Mangalia, is located 45 km to the south and the border with Bulgaria to another 15 km. Between these two cities are located all summer tourist resorts of Romania, except Mamaia resort and the localities of 2 Mai and Vama Veche.

Tomis Marina: located near the famous Casino and Modern beach, the marina is a place protected by concrete dams, where there are anchored yachts and pleasure boats. It is the only place where you can see the yachts coming from various corners of the world and from where you can make excursions by sea on the few boats for recreation. Some restaurants located on the docks of the marina offer a great view and a menu rich in marine specialties. Very near, there is the Genovese Lighthouse (built by the British in 1860). Tomis Marina in an area which should not be avoided if you come in Constanta; here you will feel the scent of the sea and of the distant journies on distant lands.

Navy Museum: it is the unique museum of its kind in the country and it has a very interesting collection of various artifacts in the history of civil and military navigation. The entrance ticket at this museum is very affordable.
The Dolphins’Aquarium: If you have children and want to offer them a very pleasant time, the most appropriate place in Constanta is the Dolphins’Aquarium, where performances are held several times a day. It is located near Mamaia and is can be easily reached by the bus line number 40.

Aquarium: opposite the Casino is located the Constanta Aquarium, with an interesting collection of different species of fish and various marine animals. From the Modern beach, the Aquarium can be reached walking in 5 minutes.
National Museum of History and Archeology: Located in Ovidiu Square, where there is also the famous statue of the same name, the museum houses exhibits and artifacts of the ancient citadel of Tomis but also many other relics of the civilization of the Black Sea coast in ancient times such as: the mosaic Roman building, Tomis Fortress ruins, etc.

Theaters: Oleg Danovschi Ballet Theater, one of the most famous ballet theaters in our country expects its audience with an original repertoire, backed by a band of special artists; Fantasio Review Theater and Lyric Theater are also other possible places for fans of this artistic genre to spend their time.

Religious buildings: the Mosque of Constanta, built in 1910 in Moorish style, is a faithful copy of the great mosque of Turkey – Konia - with a very high minaret (50m) from where it opens a great panorama of the harbor and the city and with a beautiful interior mural painting. The Orthodox Cathedral built in 1895 in the traditional style of the Romanian Country and the Greek Church where religious service is in Greek.
